cautia
Solutions

One module per task. With its real status

You don't buy cautia whole. You buy workflows: each module has a defined input, process and output, and a status we state plainly. Available means an agency is using it in production. In pilot means it exists, it works and we set it up with you. Coming soon means you can't contract it yet.

Human in the loop: before the table goes out, a person reviews and approves it.

Illustrative example with fictional data. The real table goes out in your agency's brand, with its footer: “Provisional quote. It does not imply acceptance of the risk. Subject to each insurer's conditions.”

  • Quote comparison table

    Status: Available
    What comes in
An email with two or more attached quotes in PDF — native or scanned — Excel or image.
    What it does
Identifies the line of business, extracts coverages, deductibles, sums insured and premiums from each quote, and lays them out one column per insurer with the same rows every time.
    What comes out
The comparison table with your agency's logo, colours and legal footer, as PDF or HTML, back in the same email thread. Personal lines: home, life, health and auto.
  • Slip-to-quote comparison

    Status: In pilot
    What comes in
The slip with the conditions you requested, plus the quotes the insurers sent back.
    What it does
Separates the slip from the rest, treats it as the benchmark and checks every quoted coverage against what was requested, flagging what improved, what got worse, what stayed the same and what wasn't quoted.
    What comes out
The comparison with a requested-conditions column and a status flag per coverage, in Excel on your agency's template.
  • Quote slip builder

    Status: In pilot
    What comes in
The client's sums insured, captured in a form or in your own intake format.
    What it does
Organises the information into the slip structure for that line of business, with the standard conditions and terms you define.
    What comes out
The slip, ready for your team to review and send to insurers. cautia does not send to insurers.
  • Performance bond contract reader

    Status: In pilot
    What comes in
The contract, tender document or draft agreement in PDF, Word or Excel, including scans.
    What it does
Reads the document and extracts subject matter, value, term, contractor and the required guarantees with their percentage, amount and validity.
    What comes out
The performance bond request, pre-filled with its guarantees and terms, for your team to validate.

Valentina · Receivables

Every insurer's receivables in one reconciled base, even when each one sends a different format.

  • Receivables reconciliation

    Status: Available
    What comes in
Your insurers' receivables reports and your policy system's file.
    What it does
Recognises each insurer's format — 18 supported today — normalises dates, amounts and policy numbers, and reconciles against your base using policy plus endorsement as the key.
    What comes out
A single reconciled spreadsheet with unified fields, ready for your receivables work.
  • Renewals & expirations

    Status: Available
    What comes in
Your policy system through its API, or a spreadsheet with the policy terms.
    What it does
Calculates the days remaining to each expiration, filters by status and line of business, and groups them into 45, 60 and 90-day windows.
    What comes out
Weekly emails to your team listing the policies expiring in each window, with the spreadsheet attached.
  • Group policy member updates

    Status: In pilot
    What comes in
The group policy base and the period report from the insurer or the originator.
    What it does
Classifies additions, removals and increases in sum insured, compares against the previous base and reconciles the period.
    What comes out
The month's updates file and the refreshed base, in the format the insurer requires.

Matías · Claims

Not available yet. Here's what we're building.

Claims intake will receive the documents — report, supporting files, invoices, photos — build the claim file and flag what's missing before filing. Today it exists as an internal prototype and you can't contract it. If you'd like to be one of the first agencies to try it, write to us and we'll let you know when the pilot opens.

  • Claims intake

    Status: Coming soon
    What will come in
The claim documents, in whatever format they arrive.
    What it will do
Will read and classify each document, and check completeness against the checklist for that line of business and insurer.
    What will come out
The organised claim file and the list of what is missing before filing.

Surety bonds · vertical solution

For surety companies and cooperatives that quote credit surety bonds. It is not an agency module.

The surety bond quoting module receives the request, extracts the credit variables, calculates the rate across all three modalities — advance, monthly and mixed — with and without a commercial commission, and the proposal passes through a human approval before it reaches the sales team.

  • Surety bond quoting

    Status: Available
    What comes in
The quote request with the credit variables.
    What it does
Extracts the data, calculates the surety rate across the three modalities and builds the scenarios with and without commission.
    What comes out
The commercial proposal and its calculation annex, after the risk lead's approval.

Not sure which one to start with?

Most agencies start with underwriting: that's where the hours go and where results show up in the first week. If your pain is collections, we start with receivables. We can look at it together in 30 minutes.
